Please read this in entirety before contacting A Pretty Penny (APP) about sponsorship, partnership, or product reviews. By contacting the author you are agreeing to the terms outlined below. 

SPONSORSHIP AND COMPENSATION

A Pretty Penny does not accept any cash payments for outside articles, product reviews, giveaways, or paid topic insertions. I do, however, partner with carefully selected sponsors through advertising. The following ad sizes are currently available:

A Pretty Penny also participates in affiliate marketing programs with carefully selected brands and online retailers, resulting in commissions from affiliate partners when readers click, buy, or shop their offers.

Linked items labeled as “similar” are as close as possible to what I’m actually wearing. If whatever I have on is still available for sale, I will always link directly to it, with our without an affiliate link.

Many of the items featured on A Pretty Penny are the fruits of intense bargain hunting (good for me, bad for you when you really want to get your hands on that discontinued handbag!). So, it’s often impossible for me to link solely to items that I’ve tried myself. However, I link to vendors that I either know from past experience, or whose merchandise I’d purchase myself.

REVIEW POLICY 

I will and do accept and keep free products, services, and other forms of compensation from companies and organizations when they are relevant to the original content on APP (i.e., apparel, handbags, shoes, jewelry, beauty products, etc.). I welcome products or samples for review consideration, but only the products which I deem appropriate for review will be posted on APP. All reviews will express my honest and truthful opinions, and I reserve the right to decline a review and/or not review an item sent to me on the blog. Please understand that due to the volume of requests received, I cannot guarantee a time frame when reviews will appear on APP.

FULL DISCLOSURE

In accordance with FTC guidelines and to maintain the trust of my readers, I will always disclose the receipt of any products and services (usually denoted by “c/o” or “courtesy of”) on the blog. The fact that I may get free stuff here and there will never influence the content of APP. In other words, if I wouldn’t tell my best friend to buy it, I’ll never tell my dear readers to either. 

The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely my own. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question.
